What's Going On?

The effects of Global Warming are simply that; they are global. It is a problem that results from excess greenhouse gasses in the Earth’s atmosphere and causes an unnatural build-up of heat.

The problem is seen worldwide and results in a number of critical issues. It can affect our health, our economy, our ecosystems, and lead to extreme weather patterns that can be catastrophic to the environment. In the past decade the issue has become significantly more important as the effects it has had on the global environment are increasingly evident. A number of solutions have been drawn up to reduce the effects of Global Warming. It is time to Fight Global Warming.

In conjunction with Clif Bar and the UMass Sport Management Department, we hope to strengthen our involvement with the surrounding community, promote the importance of a healthy lifestyle and the need to respect our environment in order to reduce the effects of Global Warming
