Guide to Clif Bar SoccerFest

Welcome to Clif Bar SoccerFest, now in its sixth year. SoccerFest is a community event run by the sport management students at the University of Massachusetts.

Make the Most of Your SoccerFest Experience

Here are our tips on how to have an enjoyable experience at Clif Bar SoccerFest:

• Eat a good breakfast
• Dress for all weather conditions
• Take precautions- wear proper soccer equipment, such as cleats, shin guards, and cups
• Arrive early to check in and find your playing field
• Plan a meeting spot with your team
• Bring a lawn chair or blanket
• Stay hydrated! Water and Powerade will be available at the fields for you, so bring a water bottle to refill.
• Bring a light snack to eat between games. (Concessions will also be available for lunch.)
• Most importantly, have fun!

Where is SoccerFest?

The Clif Bar SoccerFest tournament will take place on the fields behind McGuirk Alumni Stadium in Amherst. Click here for directions to Alumni Stadium.

Both UMass soccer exhibition games will be held on the UMass campus at Rudd Field, home of the men's and women's soccer teams. Click here for directions to Rudd Field.

Uniform Requirements

All participants should have atleast two shirts on hand, one light and one dark, so that teams can be distinguished during games. Participants should also wear cleats for safety reasons.
